STEVE ADKINS
Director
Steve is a very self-motivated industry professional with over 42 years industry experience.
Steve completed a British Army apprenticeship at the age of 17years old between 1971-1974 and obtained a City & Guilds in plumbing and pipefitting/Central Heating Engineer.
In 1971 - 1980 Steve achieved the Rank of corporal in the British Army Royal Engineers, during this time Steve travelled the world and completed 2 tours of Northern Ireland during the conflict periods as part of security search teams and positioned in Belfast city centre.
In 1980 Steve was working as a HGV lorry driver in West Germany, this allowed Steve to absorb the vulnerabilities and risks that are associated with Logistics.
Steve worked as a door supervisor between 1983-1985 and then progressed into a security management roles for 7 years. Steve has also been a manager licensee to multiple premises allowing him to develop and share his security experience within this area.
Between 1994-2002 Steve worked in many roles including the following: Operations Manager, Director and provided Consultancy between 1999-2002.
Steve Spent 2 years as a freelance security trainer 2005-2007 assisting and developing new individuals wishing to join the private security industry.
From 2007-2024 Steve worked for many companies strengthening their company procedures and compliance.
Steve's Career Highlight was when he was appointed the key accounts manager developing the first building stage for the 2012 Olympic park.
Steve holds numerous industry related qualifications and has individual knowledge certification for the following management processes: ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018.
Steve's Hobbies include clay pigeon shooting and motorsports.
KAREN ADKINS
Director
Karen's Career commenced many years ago having formed her own businesses, predominantly facilities and childcare, she has gained the knowledge of the security industry through her relationship with her husband Steve for 10 years, she has gained first hand knowledge and experience of the industry and now is an integral part of our successful business.
Karen has 16 years experience in Cash and valuables in transit.
Karen's hobbies include: Painting, DIY projects, gardening and interior design.
SEAN MORGAN
National Operations Manager
Sean joined SIA Security Services Limited T/A SKA SECURITY in February 2025. Due to the companies fast and successful expansion, he has recently taken on the role as our full time National Operations Manager and runs the daily operations department working closely alongside the company directors.
Sean has over 14 years experience in the private security industry and during this time he has gained relevant operational experience, knowledge and extensive additional qualifications in a variety of licensable sectors such as:
Close Protection, Spectator Safety, CCTV, Door Supervision and First Person on Scene First Aid qualified.
Sean has worked as a security Officer himself and as Door Supervisor in many theatres, public houses, nightclubs and private events, and has worked extensively in London for a number of years in the Close Protection industry providing personal protection for business individuals and visiting Foreign dignitaries and Diplomats .
Additionally, in previous years Sean has been appointed as Security Supervisor and Security Event Manager to many public events including: The majority of events held by the Coventry City of Culture 2021. Security safety transport support for Queen Elizabeth II State Funeral 2022 & King Charles III Coronation 2023.
Sean is considered to be enthusiastic and confident with a motivated approach to both his work and passions. He enjoys learning new skills and assisting other security Officers learning and development with his Certification in Education and training.
We are very happy to have someone like Sean join our team and help us grow our company.
Sean enjoys to spend his free time with his family and has a motorsport passion and enjoys Boxing and martial arts spectating.
